Downtown Program
Our Downtown Program maintains Downtown Northampton as a unique shopping and dining destination that appeals to local residents and travelers from near and far.
The Chamber worked to support the establishment of the
Northampton Business Improvement District in 2009. The BID is in operation to
offer expanded services to Downtown businesses and property owners. The
BID's attention to Downtown programs allows the Chamber to expand its benefits
to all members.
The Chamber's committee, the Downtown Business Community,
meets monthly at the Chamber to maintain strong communications amongst
Downtown businesses as well as to prioritize the Downtown priorities.
The Chamber also administers a very successful Downtown
Gift Card program which keeps $300,000
in the Downtown economy each year.
