Our Education Program helps broaden business and community support for Northampton’s public schools.
Objective:
-
Link our members’ expertise to priorities and needs identified by the school district.

Coordinate priorities and activities among school support organizations to align with the district’s highest priorities.
Results:
-
Established and supported a new internship program at Northampton High School, with 55 students participating in the first year.
-
Maintained regular communications between the Superintendent of Schools and the Chamber to foster opportunities for workplace learning.

Identified interest among Chamber members to serve as members of the school councils. |
