Membership Program
Members who are active in the
Chamber can build
strong business networks for sales, support, and a connection to our community.
Our Membership Program identifies our members’ needs and develops programs and services to meet them.
Objectives:

Build business networks and enhance the exposure of members to the local market area.

Sustain and develop organizational resources to support the Chamber program initiatives.

Develop individual member effectiveness in business and community roles.
2007 Results:

Held 30+ highly attended networking events
in 2007. These events are a strong signature for the Chamber. New faces attend each one;
an average of 150 members attend our monthly
Arrive@5 gatherings. -
Created the Northampton Area
Young Professionals affiliate, which already has 100 members and is holding
monthly networking events. The incredibly fast pace of NAYP membership growth is
proof of the need for this organization. -
Increased use of our online member directory.
In 2007,
searches on our web directory generated 1.2 million business listings, 140,200
referrals and 50,600 visits to member web sites. |
